Local and Wider Community

A healthy approach to children's home areas is encouraged and fosters close contact throughout the school year. Friends of the School is an opportunity for parents and school staff to meet to enjoy social activities and fundraisers for the school. Opportunities to visit the community and invite people to school are taken advantage of. Groups of children visit Hafod y Gest residents to carry out various activities. Connections and businesses are nurtured to broaden pupils' experience about the world of work.
